Their tool evaluation experience spans project management, configuration management, documentation, and workflow. They bring personal experience in assisting organizations become more process mature as defined by the CMM.

Description

Process workflow is the use of workflow technology to provide process control and discipline in software development. Workflow technology supports structured routing, review, revision and tracking of software products, and process templates that can be tailored for each project.

The Process Workflow Workshop is designed to educate the participants on workflow technology and how it applies to the CMM KPA's. It will also give the participants a firm understanding of how adopting workflow technology into an organization can help it become more process mature and disciplined.

Workshop topics include the following:
• Process Workflow Technologies
• Selecting a Workflow Tool and System Integrator
• Process Workflow and the CMM
• A Roadmap for Process Workflow Adoption

At the Conclusion... The participants will:
•	Understand the value of process workflow technologies to process improvement and the CMM
•	Know how to select an integrator
•	Understand the steps required to adopt process workflow into the organization

Associated Activities and Deliverables
Executive Out-Brief: At the conclusion of the workshop, a 30-minute out brief on workshop results and recommendations on proceeding is given to the senior staff.
