Presenter Information

The facilitators are experienced in software engineering, project management, metrics systems, and project planning. They are also experienced in the concepts, principles, and practices of process improvement and managing technological change.

Description

One of the key characteristics of high performance / high commitment organizations and teams is they have a clear picture of what they are trying to create together and are aligned around it. A Strategic Plan communicates that vision to the stakeholders of the organization.

These facilitated workshops follow a successful process and model to guide members of an organization to envision its future and develop the necessary procedures and operations to achieve that desired future.

This process will help an organization:
• Lay the foundation for long term growth and stability by pro-actively planning for the future
• Refine the vision, mission, and goals for the future
• Develop a plan to create the desired future
• Set a course that can be followed for the next 3 - 5 years

At the Conclusion...
The participants should:
Have a clear understanding of the organization purpose, image, and potential
Have a prioritized implementation plan for the future
Have a framework for making future decision
Understand the organization's core competencies
Establish the basis for ROI

Associated Activities and Deliverables
At the conclusion of the process, the organization will have a Strategic Plan that is in alignment with the organizations long range Vision and Mission.


Prerequisites
The participants should be Executives (management team) and key personnel who know and have a stake in the future of the organization.
